Hi and welcome to the blog.
I've spent the last few days working with my brave web designer Amanda to get theĀ new look site loaded. there's plenty more to put up, but | hope you get an idea of the sort of areas I like to work in.
TheĀ Ouse Life drawing group, of which I'm a member, are this year celebrating 15 years or a bit more now of meeting and drawing from the model. It's been the best possible facility for me, enforcing 2 hours of drawing, interacting with other artists, and above all making me hone any skill I started with. Preparing drawings for the site I came across ones I thought were pretty OK 15 years ago, and chucked them in the bin.
The group launched its latest exhibition, Time Honoured: the Ouse Life Book of Hours last week, as you'll see elsewhere on the site. The notion was to re-imagine the illustrative options of a modern Book of Hours for a secular age, and to also let ourselves off the hook optometrical and work a bit bigger!
